these last few episodes have discussed many things which i unfortunately had already come to realize with advancing years. we never had the benefits of the internet to teach us, until it was almost too late. younger guys should take note, really listen and try and absorb what\’s being said. they are speaking the truth. the jeffrey gurian ep. was outstanding. jeffrey is an inspirational character.thank you guys

seriously.. jeff saying he gets emails from his black phillip appearances saying thanks for changing lives… thats fucking bullshit, jeff was a villain on that show.. he was against what patrice was saying and was there to defend woman only not men.. the many times patrice made great points on the destructive behavior of woman he stayed shut but would open his mouth later to say men are just jealous of womans power,,, or men dont know how hard it is to walk down the street as a woman ,, bragging about how he wrote the first pro womans article on playboy smh .. jeffs a phony and a traitor .. fuck off

The first two Gurian appearances wasn’t a problem to me, then the last appearance on the final show, I began to feel like Jeffrey was hijacking it after three shows in a row. I think he intentionally brought in Carlotta to agitate the shit out of Patrice. It was one of the unfunniest Black Phillips. Dante and P were all the show needed. Guests weren’t necessary.

Black was the prerequisite to Beige and was about anger and bitching not solutions. I would bet that if P was alive his philosophy would have changed extensively. At least I would hope so the anger that P had was never helpful in solving problems

After first getting involved in the Black Phillip Show, I was in a pretty angry place overall. So when I first heard Jeffrey, I couldn’t stand listening to his softer side. I’ve listened to nearly every episode of this show, but intentionally skipped Jeffrey’s first two episodes. Now that I wait for this one weekly, I decided to just jump into this one rather than skip and wait for next week. After hearing this one, I realized how wrong I was, and I went back, heard #’s 6 and 9 for the first time. My mind’s completely changed, and I have those 3 on repeat on my phone all the time. My original opinion of him was 1000% wrong. Best episode ever for me.

Awesome that’s all I could ask for

i really enjoyed this episode aside from the topics discussed. I always wondered why there was a disconnect between Von and Dante. Dante and Patrice were very close and i always felt like i wasn’t getting the full story about what happened between them at the time of Patrice’s death. This is a great show, I’ve been listening to an episode a day for nearly a year now. Its really made a difference in my life. Thank you to the Beige Phillip Family and RIP Patrice.

Love you Dante. Love you Jeff. RIP to my personal guru, my God, the dad I never had, the late, GREAT legend Patrice O’Neal.
